We are looking for a Finance Superstar to join the Kachur Wealth Community Arena Board of Directors.

This is a unique opportunity to work alongside Karen over the next year, learn the financial side of arena operations, and be ready to step into the lead finance role for the 2027-28 season.

The successful candidate would be elected by membership at our AGM in November and would spend the 2026-27 season shadowing and training in the position.

What does the role involve?

• Monthly financial tracking and reporting
• Bank reconciliations and oversight of arena accounts
• Working with budgets, invoices, and payments
• Assisting with year-end preparation and audit support
• Helping oversee bingo and fundraising account tracking
• Supporting the Board with financial information and planning
• Working closely with our leadership team and Board of Directors

No one is expected to know everything on day one. We are looking for someone organized, trustworthy, willing to learn, and passionate about supporting our community rink.

This is a paid Board position, with compensation details to be discussed.

The Raise the Roof Fundraising Committee is excited to announce the return of our Classic Car Show & Pop-Up Market on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Kachur Wealth Community Arena in Clavet.

Join us from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM for a day featuring:

• Classic and custom vehicles

• Local vendors and makers

• BBQ

• Raffle

• 50/50 draw

• Community fun for all ages

Vehicle Registration

Vehicle registration is $10 per vehicle.

Pop-Up Market Registration

Vendor registration is $20 per table.

Interested vendors can register by emailing fundraising@clavetarena.com. Early registration is encouraged as space may be limited.

Supporting Raise the Roof

All proceeds from this event will support the Raise the Roof campaign at Kachur Wealth Community Arena. Funds raised help move our facility closer to becoming a year-round community hub by supporting the installation of a concrete floor beneath the ice surface.

We’re launched a fundraising opportunity through SARCAN’s Drop & Go program!

It’s super easy to support us, just follow these steps:

1. Collect your refundable bottles, cans, and containers (don’t forget to remove the caps!)

2. Head to any SARCAN Drop & Go location

3. Enter our group phrase: "Raise the Roof" at the self-serve kiosk

4. Label your bags and boxes with the printed tags, drop them off, and go!
